Won bids for four container-type power plants from Cyprus

04.22.2002
The Engine & Machinery Division won bids for four container-type power plants from the Mediterranean nation of Cyprus.

Easy to transport and convenient to install, the small-scale power plants will contain the division's own specially designed HiMSEN engines along with generators and other materials in 40-foot container boxes.

These power plants, with a combined power capacity of 6,000 kW, are scheduled to be installed in a shop a Vassiliko Cement Works in Cyprus next January.

The Engine & Machinery Division began receiving orders for container-type power plants last year and is close to securing orders from companies in Honduras, the Dominican Republic, and elsewhere for plants totaling 20,000 kW.
