As a world's leading engine builder taking up 35% of the world's market share with an
annual production capacity of 12 million BHP in low and medium sed diesel engines,
the Engine and Machinery Division of Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (HHI-EMD) has
been enjoying its reputation as a global power in engine building since the inception in 1978.
HHI-EMD has been the most prolific engine manufacturer since 1988
with an accumulated production record of 73.5 million bhp as of the end of 2006.
As a leader in engine production,
HHI-EMD has moved into the forefront of enginedm power plant. Many of its completed enginedm power plants at home and abroad have been in operation with a good performance adding to the Hyundai reputation.

What is Quality Assurance Program? |
The Quality Assurance Program of the Engine & Machinery Division (EMD) has the primary goal of supplying products and services, which rank among the best in the industry in total compliance with both contractual and regulatory requirements.
It is the policy of EMD to constantly maintain an effective and efficient documented Quality Assurance System, complying with the requirements of the International Standard : ISO 9001, KSA 9001, QS 9000TE and customer contractual requirements.
