Orders of large-sized Main Engines from Chinese Shipyard   [ Jul. 09, 2009 ] On 6/July, 2009, Engine Machinery Division received orders of four (4) sets of 10RT-flex96C-B main engines from Rongsheng Shipyard in China, which will be installed in 6,500 TEU container vessels ordered by Hansa Shipping in Germany. One of these engines will be delivered in year 2010, and three of them will be delivered in year 2011. As we know, world shipbuilding market is in deep recession, and competition for receiving orders is getting fiercer these days. Nevertheless, the reason why we received orders is mostly because Rongsheng Shipyard and Hansa Shipping trust good quality of our engines by long-term relations and business between us and them.
